dodge and kountry star

You don't give enough info about your truck or the 5VR. However using base info you will probably overloaded by DC specs. The 5VR you stated has an empty weight of 11.5klbs or more with a 1700lb or more hitch weight.
According to DC your payload if you have a LB w/auto is about 1800lbs.
To get more accurate data about your truck go the Towing guide section of the Dodge web page.
I'm not saying the thruck will NOT pull it but will it stop the load and be safe You can get tickected insome states for being overloaded and besides it's just NOT safe.

I can’t be much help on the specs however, We have a friend who pulls a 34’ Kountry Star with a 2500 HD chevy and they seem to do fine with no safety issues with stopping. They have pulled out West some without any issues also.
I pull a 37’ fiver that weighs more than the manufacturer’s recommendations. We upgraded the fiver’s brakes to heavier disk brakes and we have stopped so fast from a speed of 65 mph that everything in the cupboards shifted dramatically. We had some problems with climbing 6-7% grades in the West as well as going down, but that all changed when we took a trip to Colorado to the experts at ATS who turned our truck into a pulling machine.
As far as what’s legal, it is my understanding that as long as you’re not over on your axle weights, have the proper insurance, and hold the correct operator’s license for you state, than all is good. As far as safety goes, as long as you can control your rig under just about any situation than all is good.

Newmars are great trailers but also very heavy. If that Kountry Star has a bedroom slide you will be way overloaded with the 2500. Even my 97 American Star single slide overgrossed my 97 2500 by several hundred pounds. You are approaching dually territory.
