If you want to make money "trucking" you need to either be producing something of value that you sell like maybe from a farm hay, straw?? and the truck is merely a means to get your product to market, as opposed to something you make profit with, OR find some niche market hauling expedited time sensitive freight. Car hauling is the bottom of the barrel in trucking. Especially when you get down to the level of Joe blow and his Ram with a 3 car trailer. Everybody and their brother thinks they can do it and they're all cutting each other's throats. The rates are in the toilet. Trucking is a business of razor thin margins anyone who tells you different is a liar.
