Coleman Mach III Power Saver AC & TDR Sucks
This is actually more of a TDR Sucks thread, but since it's about an RV A/C unit, it seemed appropriate to post here.
I've been shopping around trying to find reviews and pricing on the Coleman Mach III Power Saver A/C unit for my Keystone Raptor, which only has one A/C currently. I live fulltime in it and the park I'm in only has 30A power, so I need a lower-power unit in order to run both at the same time.
Camping World is, sadly, the cheapest overall place I've found it. I can get it there, without paying shipping (but getting stuck with CA sales tax) for around $1000 installed (ouch). That's something like $720 for the unit, $100 for the ceiling unit, tax ($80), and installation ($88).
RVPartsOutlet can't get it... I found it for $659 someplace else, but they can't get it at the moment, and shipping would be another hundred anyway.
And then I saw a thread that came up in Google from TDR, somebody talking about it there. Cool, maybe a review. Oh guess what? Now you have to be a member to see anything more than the FIRST POST in a thread!!! ***? What a bunch of losers. Makes me even more glad I didn't renew. I quit that place years ago because of all the political BS. Heck I even found out that the people who run TDR also run Genos Garage, so I won't be buying from them either.

Actually, there isn't a place for "X forum sucks" threads on the DTR. TDR runs things their way, we run things our way. There is obviously room for both. Feel free to open a new thread discussing A/C units though.
