Check this "G" rated 16" LT tire
I stumbled across this today....now I'm thinking these might replace my Michelins.
LT235/85R16G rated for 3,758# at 110psi
This is the only 16" "G" rated LT tire that I'm aware of.

It's not the only one, but they look nice and actually have some tread. Others are not loaded that high or have no tread (trailer tires).
Wonder how much they run for.
Anyone know what our stock wheels are rated to though?

I wonder how much is known about their performance. My michelins are proven which is greatly factoring in to my purchase of new tires soon. My stock 265/75/16E Michelin A/S (currently at 65K) are rated for 3415 @ 80 PSI.

Remember that to run 110 PSI you will have to change rim. Standard rims are for 80 PSI max. Went through this with a trailer tire upgrade to G169's. Was worth the extra $$. Added an extra ton of weight capacity. Now the axles are the limit.

Goodyear has a new Radial G rated ST that looks real good. I just put four on my rig before leaving for the summer. Happy so far. I am assuming you mean trailer tires, right???

Rusty,
That configuration is quite confusing. I did a double take when I first looked at the tire when I installed them. Big print - - G614 RST - - little print lists as an LT. Confusing. The tread is certainly not made for a truck - - it is not flat.
