Changing spare tire with camper on?
Haven't had to yet, but if I need to, how am I supposed to get to the spare tire winch in the rear without lifting my camper off? For the record, my 10' Artic fox hangs down too low over the rear to access the hole to drop the tire. Has anyone modified this to be accessable from inside the rear tire well?

I welded a 6 point BOLT that fit the truck's spare drive socket into a 1/2" drive size socket, then use a 1/2" ratchet with extension to just get the handle out past the bumper. You have to lay on your back to run the ratchet, but you're on your back ANYway wrestling the spare out .
Don't forget with that camper on, the factory jack won't come close to lifting the wheel off the ground. You'll either have to lift the camper off the truck to get the weight off, or I pack around a 12 ton bottle jack.
