Why don't you ask this guy?
He does it all the time.

Why not skip the hear-say and rumor, and go straight to the source? Kaufman trailers is one of the larger well known dealers for that type of trailer, I would ask them. What you are referring to, is known as a "Wedge" Trailer. They come in 2-3 or 4 car models and run between 35' and 56' long.
I would take there advice and also invest a little time and maybe even go see them. This way you know what it is your are asking the truck to do. They will probably allow you to hook up to one and see what it fells like. I would think to haul around a long trailer like this, you should already posses the necessary skills it would take, these are not the types of trailers to learn on. Good luck.
