Worse yet, a MOTORIZED Assault Weapon!!!

Just this past Sunday I saw a Trebuchet in the backyard of someone's house around New Brawnfels Tx.
I wanted to go back and scrutinize it but traffic and timeconstraints kept me motoring on..
It stood about 14' high and was mounted on a massive wooden timber base.
All classic construction of heavy timbers but I didn't get to see any of the weight details... (it was un-cocked)

Heaviest for me was 19 1,500lb rounds on an 8,000lb trailer, so that comes to 36,500lbs of load. The truck towing it scaled by itself at a little over 8,500lbs. Of coarse that truck was an 04' 3500 325hp with a 48re and 4.10's, so that wasn't to bad. Just pulled 26k last week with my bone stock 160hp 92', that worked the ol girl pretty good!

22 bales on a 30ft with top deck over the neck 1200lb bales 41,422. Heaviest 42000 that was with small sq bales. 3yrs hauling hay averaged 34,000 per load. Eastern Kansas to NW Arkansas. Through the Branson Missouri hills. Did that with 2 97 Dodge diesels 3500 4x4 5spds. 3.54s. Tourque plates to the front, opened up the afc and 16cm exhaust housing on turbo. No gauges either. Never droped below 45 on the big hills. The trailer had 2 12k axles with vacume over hydrolic DISK brakes. I could stop.

Pretty good load! Just got the truck back from the dealer tonite with a brand new VP on (on them of course 91,470) I lucked out! Went and hauled a bunch of rolls 17 tonight 1,000# 4x5s. Still hate the 3.55s but whats new. When I first got the new truck I hauled our MF 383 MFWD with a loader and was wishing I had the old 94 back!! Now to see if an Edge Comp Box will make up the difference!!

24 4x5's on our 32 footer neckover trailer. thats 24,000 lbs just in hay, then add 8,000 for the trailer and 8,000 for the truck. add that together and ya get 40,000 pounds total. thats my heaviest...
