Brake wires, does it matter which one is + or - ?

I installed new brake assemblies on the 5ver and need to know if it matters which wire connects the postive or ground. Both of the wires are white coming out of the backing plate.

thanks

Magnet is self contained and not grounded so it can be wired either way.
