Brake controllers again- need more info

I'm replacing my trailer brake and was going to follow the advice here and go with a jordan. The problem her is that the only one I can find in my dealer catalogs is a Jordan 2100, and from the picture looks pretty generic. Is this one of them you all are talking about or is this one of there cheaper versions. The other one I am lookin at is the Tekonsha Prodigy for anybody with any info on that one.

I've run the Prodigy for about 2 years and love it. It has three boost settings for when my car trailer is loaded, turn it off when empty. It may not be a "proportional" control but I guess I don't tow enough because I can't tell any different

FiverBob recommends the BrakeSmart. I bought mine on his recommendation and I love it.

Go to this web site http://www.jordanbrake.com/ and order direct from the company. Yes I have used the Pridigy and it works great, the Jordan is better, I have been told the Brakesmart is the Cadilac of the bunch, and you pay for that sort of luxery
Maybe I'll upgrade next year.

What you want is the Jordan Ultima 2020. It's available on the Internet or directly from Jordan.

Just installed the Brakesmart....It was expensive, but it sure works great. (Nice to see a digital voltage reading while driving).....

On a side note: Took the truck out for 125 miles today through the hills to a lake and back after putting the Edge EZ in a couple of days ago....Great power AND 28 mpg!....Ran 62 mph when I could.

If a brakesmart will get me 28mpg I'l pay a thousand for it and think it's a deal. Im impressed, I've never seen anything close to that mileage on mine even in ideal conditions.

Well at 60 mph, flat road, no wind I could get 23 before the Stage 1 injectors, Edge and other stuff in my sig. The real question is what will I get towing the new Arctic Fox 25' 5th wheel?....Hoping for 15 mpg... Stay tuned.

Is that calculated or overhead computer numbers?

Those are higher numbers then good running trucks empty.

Overhead computer reset as I left home. It usually is pretty close, and I was empty...not towing (except for my wife who has lost some weight! ). I'll check by the odometer on the next trip.

The Jordan also shows the digital reading as well. I bought my Jordan HERE and saved $250.00 as opposed to the Brakesmart. I'm sure the Brakesmart is a terrific unit, but I'm pleased as punch with the Jordan!
