BLAH - Need trailer wiring help
I would REALLY appreciate it if someone has a diagram that they KNOW works for the 7-pin connector on a '96 Dodge Ram.
Heres what info I can provide:
Using a couple of diagrams I have at least found out which pin the right turn signal is for .
I can't get ANY of the other lights to work yet. I have a feeling the signal light doesn't work on the left side, but the running light does. I hooked the running lights wire up to the "right signal" connector that I do know works, and all of them flashed. However when I try to hook that wire up to the running lights connection according to the diagram, I get nothing. And who knows if the brakes are doing anything yet.
Its a 2006(?) Ponderosa 2 horse trailer. It has electric brakes on the rear axle, a battery break-away backup system, 2 rear tail light/brake light combo lights, and running lights. 5 wires run to the trailer, I'm trying to convert it from the stupid 5-pin connector that it came with to the 7-pin connector that the truck already has on it.
Thanks for any help, I'm just sitting here my brain trying to figure this out.

Well we rigged it up with the 5 pin adapter last night to get the trailer back home, just didn't have brakes on the trailer, and everything worked fine, so I think its got a good ground.
