Bilsteins or Ranchos?

Re:Bilsteins or Ranchos?
I can't speak from experience, but I know that Haulin in Dixie runs Rancho 9000. He pulls alot more than you will and they seem to work well for him. A buddy of mine has a set on a 1500 Off-Road truck and they work great. I would think that you would be happy with them. Don't know about Bilsteins.

I think the majority says Ranchos, there's been a couple threads! I am still waiting for the new RS9000x to come in at the local truck shop! Of course, you need the in-cab remote for them as well! about 500 beans for 4 shocks & remote! ;D

Tony

Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks work fine for me. Really depends on your pocketbook and your choice. I think all of the shocks mentioned are quite acceptable so it really makes you have to think about what you want out of them.

One guarantee - whichever you choose will be better than stock.

Put my Rancho 9000X at the four corners today and you really can tell a difference. You don't have to get the in cab controler as you can adjust them on the outside. But if you want to spend the extra money than go for the inside controler.
Big dawg

Finally got to pull the 5er today with the new RS9000x's... W O W what a difference! ;D No bouncing for a 1/4 mile down the road anymore when you hit a bump! I sprang for the in-cab remote, well worth it IMO! Can adjust the ride while your going! ;D ;D

Tony
