been thinking about buying a 6 wheeler and doing a little hauling any suggestions?

i dont know just seemed like a thing to do for a while.

and i can pick up a 6 wheeler for a good price,

a friend of mine is doing it and he gets real good money 40 an hour or so he says it works out to that.

any area's like hauling stone or something that is known to get paid more?

thanks,

I don't know about operating costs in your area, but at $40.00 an hour you would be "upside down" before you turned the key in NY. Speaking from experience as I've been in the heavy construction business for approx. 12 yrs. Average cost to operate a 8-10 yard 6 wheeler is about $40 - $45 per hour.

surely he meant $40 per hour net, in his pocket, maybe before taxes even, but not for truck and driver.
