Well I just got back a couple days ago... We went on a tour of 5500 kms in 15 days that took us to vancouver island and back. We went through several mountain passes and it was beautiful...

About 3 days before our trip I came across a truck camper for a great price and I couldn't pass it up. Bought a new matress for $200 bucks and did some work to the water system and we were ready to go. So we loaded up the diesel and rolled out.

Turned over 437000kms on the trip too and the truck ran flawlessly. I love my diesel...
Only issue is I found out the springs were weak, so if 1 ton spring packs will fit I am gonna put a new set of those on it. Any one know if they will fit?

Twice a year we wind up in that area. You have inspired me to actually go to the island next time. Any camping suggestions?

 

Lots of camper there for hauling in the bed!!!! I haven't seen to many of those with the door on the side like that. I bet it makes for a better floor plan.
