I'm thinking of making them out of 304 SS 1" 11ga square tubing, triangulated w/o gussets; I just can't decide if it's worth it to build them box-style, like individual space frames, so they'd have maximum torsional rigidity.
Why do the frame-mount bushings tear up like that? Just underbuilt? Heim joints give a freedom of movement in 2 axes, so what forces besides "pitch" act upon the ladder bars?

Will those Warrior 6200's fit on a long wheel base truck?I've found several venders that make them for short wheelbase rigs.This will be the 1st one to fit a long wheelbase if I'm not mistaken.
