I entered "tow bars", "hitches", "trailer towing" in the quick search box. Number 2 should be titled "Coupling Devices and Towing Methods."
Number 8 above refers to SAE Standard No. J684c. A Google search produces this website: http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rulesregs/f...egs/393.71.htm which just repeats the above CFR.
