I had a 32' single slide prowler. It had a bunch of small problems like most campers do, (little, non important stuff) nothing that ever stopped us from using it. All in all a decent camper.

I think most campers are built cheep and it takes time too tweak and fix and make it good why I don't know if my camper I own was not too small I would live in it but I could not bring my self too live in a single axle 1970s Road Ranger be like living in my truck

Holiday Rambler 36' Fifth Wheel Crown Imperial

What would you guys think about this camper? Its really clean in and out has a wash/dryer in it so that would be a big plus living in a rv park not having too shell out quarters all the time when I want too do my laundry. The roof is good and there is zero sings of any water invading the ceiling and walls.

its newer but still look @ the roof, out side trim and window seals inside look at panels inside cuby holes ... also take a good look @ the under side and function everything ...hook a truck up check all wiring as gremlins suck later on

holiday ramblers are well built

Lotta trailer for a 3/4 ton truck. I would stay under 12K lbs, and 32 feet with a SRW truck. Fifth wheels are generally nicer to live in though. We lived in ours for 8 months while building our home.

I am not worried about the weight I won't pull it that much and I have hauled heavier with my truck hauling cows and my truck never has felt like it wanted too sway at all. Still looking for a 30-36ft fifth too live in full time while working out of town and while remodling my house.

HRs are good rigs Cowboy I don't think you can go wrong the Prowlers are more entry level and fine for trips but don't hold up well to living in.

Iam living in Pendleton full time in the rv and its 13 out side right now and the rv I am living in has no heat just two ceramic heaters that I can only run one at a time and its not very fun. Trying too get approved for a loan too buy somthing and its hard because my company gave me two weeks tooo find somthing too live in or find a new job and I am so frustrated with the whole thing that I could just quit. I cannot afford rent up here either as its a college town so rents 700 plus a month and I just dont make that too go around and pay my bills so the rv and in a park is just right up my alley as its in my budget.

quick fix for your heat problem, get you a extension cord 12-3. Run it along side your power cord inside your rig find closest rec, disconnect outlet from trailer wiring cap leads attach extension cord color to color to color.plug the other into outside box your done. You now have a dedicated ciruit.now you can run both heaters.

Did you do anything on the trailer front? The HR would be much better to live in, as long as you did not have to haul it much,
Did you run a seperate circuit for your second heater?
