2000 Dutchmen 31BH with a slide

I went down and was going to pick up my new camper today, well I got there and while I was waiting for the salesman I seen this 2000 sitting there and checked it out and it looked great,14ft slide, could not find any rotten wood or bowed out walls,it looked new,so when my salesman came out I asked how much for this one,he said $10995+ TTL,well I got it out the door for $10868,he was a little upset I didnt get the new one I had picked out,but with this one there is no payments,I payed cash for it.
But what I was wondering, does anyone have any info about the Dutchmen,I know it is built by Thor industries, but I know nothing about them, any info would be helpfull...Thanks

Hello... Open www.ThorIndustries.com/corporate/... They are a big company with various product lines... RV's and mod-size transit buses... I can vouch for the EXCELLENT QUALITY of the "Komfort" brand travel trailer I bought a year ago... I would suspect they build the "Dutchman" with the same standards...

Cheers... ...Ted

Hi guys,I just got back from the maden voyage with the TT,first off there is some problems, the floor in front of the sink makes an auful racket when you walk on it,not sure but I think the heating ducts might be binding in there,I checked the frame and it looks good, also the top of the slide the seal has come loose,no biggy it just glues on there it looks like, other than that everything works, the shower/bathtub sits so hi I cannot standup in it and neither can my wife, there is 5 inches under the tub of empty space, not sure why they did this,I am not tall by any means,5ft 11 not sure why they built this like this,it is easily fixed I guess.
But other than that it was great, towed really good, the Dodge was wonderful power wise, and pretty stable to boot.
Now I just have to figure out what to do with the old Prowler
