when contacting other members
I have gotten three or 4 emails today from site memberes, thats fine, enjoyed the info and input.
However I am hesitant and often do not open mail from unknown sources.
Suggestion; when contacting members about a an item or topic that you saw here, it might be good to put "From DTR Forum" in the subject and then maybe a word about the topic you are referring to. I am glad I opened the ones I did, but it was close.
Thoroughly enjoy the site, maybe this idea will help others.

That is good advice for any emails you send out. I also do not open attachments that I do not expect because of all the virus problems.
Even with updated virus software, I don't trust any unknown attachments. I receive roughly 50 to 150 virus infected emails to the National Chapter address, and the Webmaster address combined weekly.
That means a lot of you do not have virus protection on your email, that is exactly how these viruses are allowed to do their work.
If you don't have virus protection, you can get a decent program free from these people; http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php
