Popup when you scroll over threads

Can we get a popup when you scroll your mouse over a thread in the list and see the first post. That way i know if i want to go into the thread to continue reading or not.

www.dodgetalk.com does it.

We used to have it. Jack had to turn that feature off because it was causing a lot of issues with the system IIRC.

I like that feature. It speeds up the surfing process especially when folks don't use specific thread titles.

I also like the feature that allows you to find new posts by timeframe (1,2,4,8 hours, 1 day, 2 days, etc.). Not a big deal but it is handy.

I liked the pop up with mouse over so that I don't have to click on threads let the page load, then find out it's about something I really don't want to read about. So, I end up loading a dozen pages I would have never clicked on in the first place.

We should make this a sticky

You can set your options to only show threads from the past day or two.

I've gotta say I hate that feature on other sites that use it. As soon as you start reading something, that popup shows up and blocks whatever you're looking at. Then you move your cursor, and another popup shows up and blocks something else. If I want to read something, I'd rather bring it up myself.

Jack doesn't. And we are in his sandbox. If 50 people were at my house and wanted to smoke, my no would still win
