I'm probably doing something wrong - but search won't work.

When I enter the criteria and select where I want to search, it seems to basically brings me back to the search screen without searching...

Make sense?

Your search term is too short. Take any two character words out of your search term.

It still does it with longer words. Seems to happen pretty randomly for me.

clear your cache and your cookies. you may have a cached page. If there is no results to find, then it will do that as well.

I'll give the cache and cookies thing a try.

Didn't it used to give you a specific message/page when there were no results found?

I just tried your search for the word turbo. I got the max return of 500 posts and I also got the max of 500 for threads.

I just cleared my cache and cookies and tried a search for "turbo". I got the search screen again, no results. This was with IE and Firefox.

That's why I was saying it happens randomly. Sometimes it works and other times you can try over and over and it won't work.

Don't know what to tell you, man. Seriously. I am not having this problem at ALL. I'm using firefox, IE and Opera. I do not see any issue with the terms I'm searching for, including the term "turbo".

I rebuilt the search index last night, and it took 9 hours. If you were searching during that time, it's possible you may not have received the result you were looking for but as of this time, I'm not having that issue.

It's one of those things that will never happen when you want it to, but will always happen when you don't want it to.

I searched for "turbo" when I began typing this and it didn't work. I just tried again a few minutes later and it did work. Pretty bizarre for sure.

Now that's funny, but I'm also having problems, and have since the search was rebuilt. Tried emtying the cache and history, don't really understand what that has to do with it, but still to no avail?

You need to give me details on what you're searching for and what you're seeing. Give me the exact term

I searched for turbo when Shovelhead had the search ON. Took 43.19 seconds to return 500 results.

Shovelhead, you have a wicked sense of humor, it is great.
Good pix of you at work.
