Emergency Help Member Listing
Another truck site, that I frequent, has a volunteer listing of member locations, phone numbers, etc., for members to download, should they desire.
The intended purpose is, in case someone has trouble, they can look on the list and possibly be close to a member that can assist them to get going again.
The help can be merely pointing them in the direction of a good mechanic or parts-house; or, the help might consist of actually hauling the dis-abled truck to a member's shop and fixing the problem there.
This is entirely voluntary; and, just because a member is on the list doesn't mean he has to lift a finger.
Just an idea.
Thanks.

We also have Local Chapter in most states. If you check HERE, you can find the names and conctact information for each of Local Chapter Presidents.
If your traveling around, Im sure each Local Chapter would be more than willing to help a fellow DTR member passing through the area.

TMRA (Texas Motorcycle Roadrider's Association) does something like this and it's worked quite well. Contacts provide a general location (city) and a contact phone number, along with what type of help they can provide (floor space to crash for the night, tools, towing, etc.)
