My vote's in.

I think it would be great to see what people are up to mod wise, and what that translates to at the track, or dyno.
One of these days I hope to try and up the ante a little.

I agree, it should be moderated closely.

Bragging is great, why else do we compete.

But, it needs to be kept friendly and civil.

phox
Hey Hoss but you drove a Ford and found this place. Even tho this place has all dodge forums it is still called DIESEL TRUCK resource. I wander if Some Ford owners will come here wanting their own forum. Most likely not but you never know what will happen in a year or so. Theres a theory for you to think about :
DM01
There actually used to be a forum here just for Ford-Diesel.com members....since you mentioned it. I found this place because our fearless leader used to hang out at Ford-Diesel.com before he started this site. When he kicked it off he invited several folks over (whether that was by posting an announcement or personal invitation I don't recall, but either way I managed my way over here somehow). Otherwise I probably never would have known about it.

Re:Competition forum?
I'm up for it. I'm dying to learn how to launch my truck at the track. What mods do what? How to lose weight (on the truck that is )? Different sled pulling techniques. Types of tires to drag race on. Just stuff like that. From what I've read so far, it'll be just like the Towing forum, except about drag racing, sled pulling, stuff like that. Also. I would love to see a little show and shine stuff in there. I'm kind of interested in showing my truck. But can't find enough info on it.

Re:Competition forum?
Why not go over to Diesel-Central? They have a comp forum and they don't delete your posts and lock threads. Besides, it don't sound like Jack is gonna let it happen anyway.

Then he could run his mouth and not have anyone stifle his creative commentary. :
I am in a fabulous mood today. ;D
