How'd I miss this thread? Mine's next friday to be exact. Ain't getting the tranny for it though. Not enough money (freaking moving and bills). Will be in august though. I've got an account started just for it.

All I want for 10k posts is some respect.

Respect my elders? Elders are people 50+ years old. People a week older than I are not respected anymore than they show me.

I need a tranny bad. I talked to Stefan today and he's actually been following my threads and stuff and even he's like I have no clue how your's is still holding. He said it should have died by now. Oh well. I know my day is coming, I'm just hoping to hold it off until I have the money to build it. Come on august.

Fulmers tranny is holding at 280 hp over it's designed level ..... why shouldn't yours hold at +50 HP (actually +48 hp). I'm betting it will!

So how are you going to junk your old tranny once August rolls around?

 

It's called smarty #9, TST 9, and a 3k lb trailer in the city. Should get rid of it fairly quickly. August is our busiest month and I make a bunch of money during that month so it's going to cover the tranny.

Chris, I'd go ahead and do it. I couldn't be happier with mine. I love it. Not to mention that since you'll already have it, it takes some of the initial cost off the price of a DTT because you can use it. If you get a deep pan it takes the price down a bit further as well. That's why I'm getting a $4200 tranny for $3400 or so.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and do it...only problem is there ar no DTT installers within 200 miles. I think I can pull it off thought
