Smarty vs Edge... video results...

I've dropped this vid a few times, I know... but here is good proof...

First vid is a brand new hot edge turned up to lvl 6... when the alarm went off, I was at 1350*...

And a vid of the smarty about a week later with the exact same mods... I saw 1450*, but it was at the end of the track... This is the revo PoD...

I loved having the edge there to look at all the time, and the shift on the fly, but now all I miss is seeing my digital engine temp and a turbo timer, and I can fix that real quick...

The smarty is 10X better with my mods than the edge was. I'm sure that it works better than the smarty for someon, but not me. I loved the edge, and still do, but like I said in my sig...

The Smarty shifted better and fueled further in the rpms, I could see how you are ecstatic with the results

Madhat,

Looks like we have pretty similar setups save for the CP3 upgrade and Flux 2.5's. Is the Arson kit keeping up with the injectors pretty well? I know our truck would benefit from pump and injectors (spool) and there is plenty of air left in the turbo. You must be pretty happy with the results, that second vid was haulin.

The arson kit holds great with the smarty, I see 26k all the way down the track. I am about to be at the limit for the turbo...

Without the smarty... I saw 12k at WOT...

Looking at your this video, I really dont think your at 26k I know it shows that there at the end end. It only looks like your hitting about 19.5-20k PSI max. If you notice when your auto shifts it jumps to around 26.5k PSI for a split second. At the end when its at 26k its shifting into overdrive and then your letting of right there to so it looks like its holding 26K. If you keep the video on for another 2-3sec when its in to overdrive Id bet it would be holding 19k PSI.

Look... here's the thing. The smarty is right for MY TRUCK. The edge is a great piece of gear, and for some, it suits their needs better than a smarty. In my accplication, it worked better.

Clear as mud?

Lay down some coin, bro... the smarty helped a lot with that too...

If you want a good deal on one, call/pm Lary in the DTR store... he can get a deal on them...

That was a vid with the edge. The truck could not hold RP to save it's life. If you watch close, you see it hit 12k at WOT.
