08 6.7 non-delete runs rough below 1500 RPMS and blows lots of white smoke

shop also said it didn't show any codes not even the ones I found on odometer. he said he started at #6 injector checked out, then #5 and it leveled out and worked correctly then it checked out, then #4 checked out, #3 checked out and #2 was dead,in his words. I need to get to his shop to confront him and if its running where I can drive it without leaving a cloud trail it would be better

opened valve cover and it was #2 intake valve bridge was in the galley and the rocker arm plastic piece that pushes on the valve bridge is missing. going to adjust it for now order a new rocker and hope that fixes it

he doesn't seem too concerned with it. I don't know if he is playing dumb or if he really not concerned? I have talked to him a few times today, but never once did he act like he was worried. maybe I should send him an email. I just want a working truck I don't have time for his crap or working on one, losing money everyday focused on truck and not work

With a Dealer like that you will have to sue him to get him to act. They will always settle out of court since he knows he will lose. Paying lawyers fees and court costs will be very expensive for him. He will buy it back but you will need to get a lawyer involved. Sorry but that's the way this business has gotten lately, suing is the only thing they understand.

Update
Update: I have been in contact with an attorney. Long story short, dealer told me I need a diesel mechanic and he isn't even sure those years were even equipped with a "DPF" as his words "I am not a diesel mechanic"
Anyhow. I fixed the #2 intake rocker that was broken and adjusted any other loose rockers. I didn't notice any wiring issues with the injectors. Although the connections on the intake side of the valve cover for the injector lines is kind of loose, but I don't think thats my problem
It now intermittently runs rough, seems to run best colder. sometimes running it w/tow and exhaust brake on helps, sometimes not. I definitely had some raw fuel in the exhaust system that has burned out. If I high idle it runs fine 1100-1200 rpms and little smoke. but letting it idle regular it fluctuates around 600-800 runs rough and smokes (white or maybe grey smoke) sometimes no excessive smoke, but it is random. It has started recently have check engine light after it's up to operating temp and commute. Shows 21 codes, mainly related to emissions (DPF, EGR, O2 and related) except 3 codes: #4 cylinder misfire, Transmission code (probably related to running rough a pressure sensor or something) but the last 2 days I have had a CEL it goes off after a few start ups.
I am asking for any advice, as I need to get this truck to be dependable. I am thinking of doing a programmer first, see if that corrects the problem. I suspect the dealer, or his detailer, removed the one that was in the truck by PO as when I got truck, the OBD port was unattached to the bracket it is supposed to go in. So hopefully that would remedy the problem. otherwise my next move would be to replace injector wiring harness, then injectors as I don't know if they were replaced as the dealer showed me the paid receipt, (possibly fake he "forgot" to include the receipt and refuses to send me a copy or weasels out of sending it. Thank you

also it IS DELETED as far as DPF,CAT has straight pipe w/sensors in it.
And really odd is my overflow for coolant was full at operating temp, but radiator cap was just warm. opening it, it had a lot of pressure and looks like radiator is a little low, maybe half gallon or less, temp gauge has been reading normal temps

Anyway to get ahold of the previous owner to see if he/she still has the tuner? It should be VIN locked if they didn't send it back to stock.
Can you find someone local to borrow a delete tuner?
Hell, if you were closer I'd take my Mini-Maxx off and we'd test it.

last few days has ran excellent, no smoke rough idle, still has some minor hiccups. I unhooked the EGR connections and haven't had a problem. Got ahold of a place and thinking of buying an H&S w/delete tune and auto trans tune and also get the EGR delete components $1,100.00 it also will monitor my vitals and buying new has a warranty and also tech support from place I am buying from, they are extremely reputable out of Wisconsin

Get the attorney after him and get rid of the truck. Being in Cali. I (personally) wouldn't want to be caught with that truck for emission or that commie state would hang you out to try. Cali is on a whole new lever of stupidity. Stop dicking around at let the attorney handle it. The seller should of atleast ran codes if what holds true to what the other member said about the smog emission must pass before being sold.

All I can say is you must REALLY want the particular truck because there's more wrong with it than right.
I assume the dealer you're talking about is a private/used car dealer not a factory dealership?
Any warranty?
Are you in a smog check area? If so then you'll need all those exhaust parts in two years to pass smog to the tune of $3-4k. You can find some take-offs for around $1k but it's a crap shoot if they're in good shape or not.
As for the dealer, they know it's deleted and they're just playing dumb and waiting for you to give up. All they have to do is check with carb to be sure. It's your call but they should cough up some cash at the very least to offset your costs of deleting or install the correct exhaust components to make it legal.
The cylinder #4 missfire indicates you still have a problem. If not the injector then there's another issue (bad harness, valve/valve seat, piston, piston wall, HEAD GASKET etc) thats going to cost you alot more $$$ than deleting.
(High coolant level in the overflow and low level in radiator can indicate a bad head gasket)
Lawyer up or cough up $$$ to fix everything.
