Thats the reason I went with the single 10" because I don't want a tool box in the bed so I have a rubbermaid container under the drivers side rear seat with my tools, jumper cables and tow rope (which I've used 15 times in the past 2 weeks because of all the snow and today there are a bunch of people stuck on my road so it looks like I might make some more money!!)

Here are some pics of my dynamat'd door. I put some clarion 6x9's in the doors and with the dynamat it sounds awesome! It was only $15 for 2 15"x15" squares. Way worth the money. Enjoy.

For you that are wondering why there is carpet missing around my sub, I cut the carpet away and use some high density window seal foam from Lowes. It is a 1/4" thick and about 1/2"-3/4" wide. It completely seals air tight and sounds great.

The reason I chose that sub is because the other subs in the shop wouldn't fit, it sounds great and I just need to find a grill that will fit that kind of excursion.

i would like to see your setup.

is there any setups where you don't have to raise the rear seat? cause that dual 10 box that i like so much looks like i'd really have to raise the seat.

Looks good, but I'm still not convinced to get rid of my divider. I searched high and low for months for it because the guy before me broke it and took it out.

I built my custom sub box in the center console because I couldnt fit the 10 under the seat like I liked. I like the dynomat in the door did it deepen the sound from the 6x9s. I have good ones in the door but am not happy with the sound. Was going to build a little box to mount them in like the new cars have to better the sound. When I had my interior out I was too poor to put Dynomat in but I wish I had. Figured out it was going to cost around $1500 to do it and do it right. Still planning on installing it in the future. Would like to get the inside of my truck as quiet as my wifes buick. Was told by the shop it would require 2 layers on the floor one in each door and one ont the back wall to work well.

Do some searching on here. There was a thread awhile back about insulating the doors and dynamat throughout the truck. I think the poster said it cost between 2-300 the way he did it and it made a HUGE difference.

Kinda OT, but has anyone rubberized the underside of the truck to dampen the sounds a bit?

In high school I had 4 12's mounted in a box in the bed of my 94 GMC sierra. They were mounted in a box in a diamond pattern that I designed where the subs were all facing each other. The box was built as a sealed unit with one giant port which which came through the rear window. I pushed these subs with 2 orion 225hcca amps, then later switched to a orion 2100hcca. I actually took everything out of my truck & mounted it all into my 64 Impala with 2 15" JBL 1000 comps. I have 2 2100hcca amps here & 2 225hcca amps. I'm not really into the loud stereo thing any longer as I'm getting older. I was just wondering what they sell for these days, I may be selling them.

Well I have no idea, I just want a little extra sound, I'm not "into" it as some people say. I'm sure you could just google search em and find out used and new prices. Craigslist is king, no shipping free ad.
