Yes...Another exhaust question?? 5" choices??
OK,
I'd like to put a 5" exhaust kit on my truck that exits in the oem location behind the rear wheel. The only kit I see is the MBRP that is aluminized. Are there any other choices out there?? Stainless T-304 is what I'd like.
Does anyone have a sound or video clip of a 5" kit?? Most companies have sound clips of their 4" kits on their websites, but not much about any 5" kits.
I know the 5" kit is overkill, but... There's just something about BIGGER. Even one of my turbo Buicks has a stainless mandrel bent 3.5" single exhaust. Yes it's loud, yes it's obnoxious, yes it drones...
If I can't find a 5" kit I'm thinking of either the 4" MBRP or the 4" Silverline. I see alot of people talk about the MBRP, but what about the Silverline?? Pros/Cons??
TIA,
K.

Rip Rook sells a great 5 inch kit. I had him make me one with a 4 inch leadpipe and 5 inch tailpipe. It exits as stock.
I have pics in my gallery of it.

Bully Dog makes a 5" kits. Jegs sells them but they're aluminized. I've got a 4" aluminized kit on my truck thats been on there since 1999 and i've put well over 110K on it living in New England and it's still fine. And I use the truck to tow snowmobiles up to Maine. My trucks running no muffler, just the resonator so thats one less thing to rot out I guess.
