I got it broke in today and had some fun finally at full throttle <br><br>Here some more info.....<br><br>from a stop in 2nd gear boost was 48psi before shifting, tires where hating life!!! <br><br>in third I saw 52psi before the shift, in 4th if went to 55psi shifted at 100 MPH and in 5th pushed the peddle to 56 PSI!!!! only got to approx 7/8th throttle. It looks like at least a 150 deg cooler EGTs than the HX-40 at full throttle. Normally in 4th at full throttle the gauge is barried, it was under 1400 when I shifted. <br><br>I can't believe how fast this thing spools once boost comes on, I am having to learn to drive the truck all over again. It seems freer and I have to really watch the speed when driving on the freeway. <br><br>The only way I can think to discribe the improvement is it is about the same increase in performance as I got going from the #12 plate(230hp/605t) to the #11 plate (280hp/685t).<br><br>Next I'm going to adjust the AFC richer and see how fast I can get it to come on. <br><br>Piers has done it again!!!!!!! <br>

No 1st gear works well for coming down steep dirt roads like my driveway/road.

i will be in moab in july for about 5 days of wheeling. but my dodge will be ladin down with a 36' trailer and cab over camper. glade to here that turbo is workin out like you planned. i need some more air my self. i can peg my 1500 deg temp gage. but i think i will go with a twin turbo set up my self. just need to find a ht3b or a hx 55 lying around.mike

Nice sig Doug, you lost your mind or something,or I'm I loosing mine.<br><br>Drawson, I was at 60 PSI on lockup at say 470 HP and EGT's were at 1400 with a 16 housing on the 35, after this weekend I would blow that turbo up.........way more fuel!<br><br>Guys here is were we draw the line with a single, you can live with the EGT's and Twins will move more air, we all know that but if you grossly over fuel a single without a wastegate you will granade it, Piers is addressing this with the wastegate setup, so now people can run allot of fuel or sled pull with a single to stay away from the Twin crowd. If I were doing it now I would go with this single, the reason I did Twins is I had the tools and knowledge via Piers.<br><br>Jim

Cumminsdieselboy, Which housing is that????<br><br>I adjusted the AFC richer tonite and it starts at 1450 RPMs ;D The more I drive it the better I like it. This has truly made my truck FUN to drive again!!!!!!!! Now if I can get used to it, I might be able to report on MPG. ANd hopefully I can keep away from the troopers on the freeway on ramps. I don't know how they would like it me entering the freeway at 110 <br><br>

You kill me Dee!!! I saw you dyno at 460+ Hp and it's now just getting fun again??? My wife thinks I need help because I go bed at night trying to figure out how I'm going to get my 40 and now all this talk about the 50 is going to really kill me. Oh well, all in time. Are you going to be able to make it up for another Dyno Day, April 12 at Meridian Motorsports in Boise? It would be a great comparison... Not to mention to hear a Cummins at 4000 rpm with a 50 on board. SWEET!!! Glad to hear your having fun with new new toy. Who said you have to grow up when Piers can make any day Christmas!!! Lon, I wish I could make it but I have too many honeys does to get way in the spring. New house/ no yard = lots of work.<br><br>As far as the your addiction to the bombing bug goes.... You'll soon find that the further down the slippery slope you get bombing the more need for HP you have. It is truely an addiction :'( 8)<br><br>The only way your going to be able to stop once it hits hard is to sell the truck and get a Geo Metro

Those are the pictures Peirs sent me so thats what you should have. It doesent have the wastegate so that might be the difference.
