Will the stock trans hold up with the XZT+?Its an '02 auto,Airdog fuel system,gauges,69000 miles totally stock otherwise.

 

You should be fine with the stock tranny.

 

Haven't had any issues after 20K+ and towing 15K for extended miles in the mountains. As always, the more you push it the more the wear. Keep the fluid level in the operational zone and monitor for discoloration if you're doing any heavy hauling/performance. Get a transmission fluid temp gage.

My XZT+ killed my stocker but it had 165K on it and was getting a little weak. Plus I don't think the 100hp injectors helped any either.

 

No issues on my 02 with 90k.

 

My XZT+ has been pretty good on my stock tranny, and also when I installed my Valve Body.

Now that I have DDP 3's however the TC is getting a little wore out! haha

 

Some last, some don't. Mine went with a much less aggressive EZ at around 30K. No other mods.

I've had no issues with mine in that department. It's been installed since July 07 and the truck has over 256k on it. Outside of the XZT+ it's stock with a nv4500 tranny.
