If you just always check the feature code after you download it you will know if you got the correct and latest one!

 

Quad, I loaded the newest High idle beta in my truck just now, works properly but only Idles up to just under 1000 RPM. My truck Idles @ about 850rpm and when it kicked on it only went up to about 980rpm. definetly noticable but, should it not go up to 1200???

 

It depends on what cycle your truck is in. If the grid heaters or something are on it won't likely go all the way up to 1200rpms until they cycle off. There are certain times when the ECM will just pull the fuel back so the rpms drop down.

If you just let it idle it is in constant monitoring and will idle up the second it is able.

 

Alright i had the same trouble it seemed like every time that i started after the truck had sat for a while it would only idle up to 1000rpm then id tap the break and let it run for two minutes then it would idle up to 1200rpm. Ill let it sit for awhile next time and see instead of being impatient.

not to over work you quad but for future reference, is it possible to design a turbo timer download? just a thought

 

The XZT+ is not connected to anything that could possibly keep the truck running after the ignition is shut off.

You have to have the Adrenaline for that, or buy a seperate turbo timer.

 

Superb work on the new tunes Quad! You have done some absolutely amazing things with this box! Tune # 2010 is what I was dreaming about. Never thought it could be possible!
