Trust me.......you'll love it!!!
You won't feel any difference between the off setting and the timing only setting, but you will get better milage.
The best part is driving down the road and switching between timing only and timing & fuel. Keep in mind, it's only 60-70 HP, but it's a nice kick in the pants.

I'm expecting mine anyday now and can't wait. Is the stock tune the best for mileage(timing only) or is the timing only the same for all the tunes??? with more fuel added for the more agressive tunes?

The timing only mode is the same on ALL of the tunes. So no matter what tune you're running, you will always get the same fuel economy on the timing only mode.

FINALLY got mine today. I've had an Edge EZ on for 5 years. I can definately tell the difference b/t the EZ and XZT+. Of course I downloaded the aggressive tune before I put it on. It's got more power at the bottom and it seems to continue to add power later than the EZ did. Smoke wise, it's a little more than the EZ. This is with the stock aggressive tune. I get a couple seconds of smoke at take off and a puff when shifting. Once the turbo spools, it clears up. It's not a whole lot. Enough to get the job done, and not be offensive. Definately a good purchase in my opinion.

Got mine installed today and like it. I really like the toggle switch...run it on timing only and then when someone tailgates you, hit the fuel/timing and back them off. I was having trouble doing the downloads but it was all me and my computer but Quad's staff was very helpful and eager to please. I'm also getting alot of surging on all of the downloads in the timing/fuel except the HRPV44 program but that one doesn't seem to fuel as hard. So far I likey, hopefully the mileage savings will pay for the box before too long.

I was one of the ones that helped them get the HRVP-44 tune. I was having surging issues due to the timing and fuel diff. in the Hot pump. Jeremy sent me a special tune, I ran it on the truck and it worked great! If you dont have the Hot pump I'd say it doesn't fuel as hard or at the same times. My truck smokes ALOT @ W.F.O from a dead stop but only hazes after the turbo spools. I'm runnin bigger injectors too! I think it's just the right amount and not to much fuel and timing. The stock aggressive does smoke a little more but smoke is not what I really want, it's just waisted fuel and @ $3.00 a gallon it's not fun to waist!
