I voted x-monitor. I pulled my gauges out, because I had a dashtop and pillar 2 gauge mount. I think it updates extremely quick myself.

i have an x-monitor. i dont plan on heavily bombing my truck(yeah right), so I figured the x-monitor would be good enough. I have the fuel pressure gauge option, and i find it very inaccurate. At idle it fluctuates as much as 5 psi. Same with cruising speeds. It doesnt have anything to do with the ecm not hooked up to ecm at all. but i dont use trans temp. I prolly will be getting a seperate fp gauge though, i dont trust the x-monitor.

I love the look of analog. I got burned bad with electrical and I'll never trust them or own them again.

I like the look and accuracy of good old fashioned analog, machanical (where apliciable) gauges.

But that is just my personal preferance.

I love the way the analog guages look. I really don't like how the x-monitor or the attitude looks.

Analog for me. Id rather watch my pyro needle swing instead of trying to concentrate on watching 4 different numbers change constantly. Plus analog gauges are cheaper, and I think they look cooler myself. Its really personal prefrence. I like some of the SPA digital gauges, but I like my analog gauges

I have the x-monitor just b/c i didnt want to cut my o'sh*t handle. however mechanical guages are more dependeble and way cooler looking. If I truely had a choice i would have both and hide the x-monitor out of site. I would do this b/c i like to recall and max values function of the x-monitor.

its a toughe call. my 92 has all analog gauges and look bitchin. the 99 has teh x monitor but the 3rd options was hooked into the oil temp??? so i added a mechanical fuel psi gauge on teh steering column. i like the x monitor myself keeps all really clean and its easy to read i think.. plus like others have said. it stores highs and lows for logging info...

I've had both and thankfully I am smart enough able to concentrate on reading the numbers, there is no difference to me, in reading the analog vs. the digital.

I do have an autometer FP gauge on my steering column, since I used the trans temp option with my X-monitor.

I have the Xmonitor with Fuel psi. it is very accurate as i did not trust it at first so i checked it with a manual gauge yes it does flucuate but so did the manual test gauge. Both test gauges read the same my OTC and the dealers gauge i borrowed. only thing is the xmonitor was quicker to respond to the change than the test gauges.

My X-monitor is mounted on the column beside the hazard light switch. Very easy to install and neat looking. If you figure the costs of both units its not that much different.

My vote is definitely for the X-Monitor.......
