Re:x-monitor question
Guys, What do you think of the finish of the xmonitor compaired to the truck interior? Do they match fairly well? Are you planning to paint the Xmonitor to match? I was also wondering about the accuracy of the transmission temp sender. I was reading the install instructions on line and it looks like you tap into a wire from the computer? I am sorry for all the questions but I am considering one of these for my 02 and want to be sure I do it right.

Thanks

Re:x-monitor question
The only reason I could see them recommending post turbo is that in case you should accidentally damage the turbo installing it pre turbo on their recommendation, they don't want to be liable for it. I'd install it pre turbo. Just go slow and make sure you keep the drill bit greased up and when your done drilling, take a small magnet and run it around in there till you don't get any more shavings. Then keep the tap greased and when your done tapping, run the magnet through it again.

Re:x-monitor question
Im 6 speed so I got fuel instead of trans temp. I did paint mine to match and it blends in pretty well. The texture on the xmoniter doesnt match the pillar but it isnt clashy. The lines of the unit blend in very well and the display color matches the truck color and is adjustable for brightness. I did the pyro just as big blue said. I can send you a picture if you pm me your email address.
