What kind of boost pressure did you build on the dyno?? If the load wasn't enough, it might not have gotten the 66 going.... Just an idea...

What do you mean by 280HP injectors? Are they really rated at 280 Horsepower? WOW, those are huge.

Do you mean they are rated to give you 280 additional horse power over stock injectors or is that there overall rating, like the Bosch 275 Rv injectors which would be only a 45 horse power increase over stock. I know my injectors are rated at 150 or 180 hp over stock

Who makes those 280HP injectors? Even the biggest from DONM, mach-7 "Broken Arrows" are rated at 240!

the simple questions here is...when you put them in is it a 40hp gain or a pin you back in the seat and black out the state kick in the rear kinda feel? 40 vs 280hp is big...i cant see a 280hp stick working without twins, a serious cam, and headwork...so im gonna guess they are a stage 1 type 45-50hp model

280Hp is just the number the Supplier classes them they will not lay down 280+ horse just like any injector on the market.. I have never tried them with twins they will be by the end of the summer ! But with a SP 66 i laid down 410HP This is Injectors only.. Im not sure what we will see with twins... But lets just say it like this They will black out the road and slam you in the seat and yank a sled like crazy ! One of the Top trucks in Missouri pulling is running the exact same injectors..

This is not correct, F-1 injectors will and do add the amount of HP they claim at the rear tires.... We run Mach 6's which are 220 HP injectors on our truck and HP goes like this, stock was right at 210 HP, injectors only it makes 433 RWHP.

Now as for the dyno what brand and model dyno was it? Normally a truck would be dynoed in 4th or 5th but even in 3rd your numbers look low. There are numerous reasons for a low number but if it was a dynojet then the problem is probably with the truck. You are correct with the mods listed it should have made a lot more HP. Some items to check out would be the injection pump, turbo boost, fueling box, and clutch. Where did you hit peak HP and where did it start falling off HP? Can you post a copy of the dyno chart? Any additional info will help out in determing where the issue lies.

Something must be seriously wrong with my truck to put down 358hp and 560torgue and then go out and run along side of a 14 second car, cmon know. When i read some of the post on here i went out and played with 3rd gear a little bit, and in 3rd gear the most boost i can see is around 25psi, in 4th i can get up to 40psi, i just dont see how something can be wrong with the truck but if you think im wrong just PM me and i'll take you for a ride in it! then you can tell me if you think the dyno is right.

I'd give John I. a call over at Floor It Diesel and run over to Lawrence Kansas and let him dyno it. The 40 psi is where the sledpuller 66 should be at from HTT so that explains some of the problem if your only seeing 25 psi in 3rd. I would expect you to be in the 460-470hp range if everything is correct.

kman9090,

Just trying to help when I made the above post..... Was it a dynojet dyno? If so what model? The reason I ask is if it was then it is doubtful it is the dyno. Dynoing in 3rd is part of the issue but tracking down the cause is what is important. It is very hard to gauge HP from a ride although it can be a ton of fun Can you post a copy of the dyno sheet (showing rpm). Also boost is not respective of HP, it is more a factor of how hard the engine is working.
