Would increasing my boost w/o any fuel mods do anything?

Would increasing my boost w/o any fuel mods do anything?

I did my boost gauge today and pyro tomorrow (Better to have them in case of something, y'know?)

And noticed that I peg 20lbs and thats it.

Would there be any benefit from 10 more lbs?

Nope. I had a stuck wastegate on mine, stock, and saw no benefit. Even with the Xzillaraider providing boost fooling, there wasn't any difference. When I got my stealth cover on and could turn the fuel up, then the higher boost was easily felt! Now I want to upgrade the turbo so temps don't get so toasty. My little HY35 is at its limit with the Xzillaraider on PL2!!

Helps me get through emiisions smoke test, disconnect pump plug on edge ez and leave map sensor hooked up as a boost fooler passes opacity check nicely!

Hmmm. Yeah, I guess that would work nicely, depending what they are looking for. I don't think the higher boost saves the Opacity though, since the reduction in fuel is the true savior. Interesting point though!

Not meaning to thread jack or anything like that...

What is all needed for installing this Stealth Cover? Now my truck is way over warrenty, so I don't have to worry about that. But I'm wondering if the stealth cover would be a good mod for me? And then I could buy a boost elbow? I just replaced my VP44 and Lift Pump, So I'm not worried about blowing the VP. What exactly does the Stealth Cover do, I see it's just a new cover with a lead wire coming off of it.

Thanks

Back to the original question - it will lower EGTs. That can be useful if you're towing heavy.
