wont rev, what to do??

not to long ago i got the gsk kit to up grage my 3k to a 4k. ever sice, it will pull really hard to about 3300-3400 then just falls on its face, i went 2 more clicks on the springs, which raised my idle about 400rpm so i backed it down to 1 click with 100rpm raise, and still the same thing, i am running about 15psi fuel pressure when it does this, do i need to do something else to my fuel system to get up to 4k? or should i look at a different gsk?

Justin it sounds like maybe your springs might be just a little tight. Remember that 97 we timed... it was doing that because the springs were off because my vernier caliper was bad. I started over and thats all it took. hope that helps

the instructions say to use calipers to measure how far the stud sticks past the retainer on the original spring... then install your new springs and set to the same distance. but i had someone here who plays with these pumps alot, and he told me to just give them 5 clicks and run that, then adjust from there on how touchy you like your pedal, i might have to give that a try, im running out of options.

If you install the spring right your Idle will be the same as before you did the springs If your RPMs are higher you have them tighter then stock . I would need to go in to the shop but I think its .050 but could be different with a different pump. thats why it should be checked before starting the install.
