Wire Tapped Box Problems Need Input Quick

I am having problems with my Haisley Machine JVD Torque Enhancer. The box is flashing when it should be a solid color. And it is not making any power.

What kind of voltages should i be seeing with the key on and the engine off. Or should i check with the engine running?

The box taps into the injection pump and another wire by the injection pump. I am sure all tapped boxes would be about the same wiring.

I tried reconnecting my box and it seems like it is still doing it. I don't think i have a short but maybe a bad box altogether. Is there any way to verify for sure?

Thanks DTR

Never even heard of this box....

What type of connections did you make at the injection pump and others?? Many have reported issues when using posi-taps and the like. I soldered the connections for power, ground and pump tap on my TST Comp.

I was kind of dreading soldering these wires together. Because the injection pump wire is a pita to get to. I guess i will dedicate my afternoon to soldering and report back if that fixes my problem.

It's somewhat difficult to solder the pump wire but it's worth it IMO. I used liquid electrical tape to cover my connections as well.

If you did just install it do a double check that you tapped the correct wire!

nope the box has been installed for quite some time now. It happened before but it was a loose connection. It like the box is getting power but something is wrong with the box. Oh well i am going to solder it up tonight and see for sure.

that cured my problem by soldering the connections. I need to pickup some of that liquid electrical tape. Never used it or seen it though.

I can't get no help from haisley machine.
Someone told me that Haisley just quit messin with these boxes. Why, I don't know. They work good when they work right though. Glad to see ya got it fixed. The few of these boxes that I've seen are very finicky about having a good tap connectioin.

Yeah it was a really problem if you had the slightest connection problem. It won't happen again though it is good to go.

I have talked to haisley about this box before. They told me that the reason the box is dis-continued is because of the after market box support that is out there. Like Edge,BD, etc.. Haisley are big in the machine department.
