Wire Tap Worries....Need Encouragement!

I have the edge juice with attitude and it was tapped and my IP took a crap and now i am worried about hooking up the tap. I have the FASS now and i think that will make up for what i was lacking when my first pump went out. I have a pump from MWFI and it should be able to hold up, i am just worried. What should I do? What would you guys do?

I'd tap it. Mine is tapped and it did not hurt it. I still don't think a wire tap kills it. The VP is junk and will fail reguardless. And that fact is a reason why IP producers void warr. It is just a way to weasel out of a doomed piece of junk and make you buy another one.

Check into the magneson moss warranty act. If I remember correct, it states that a manufacture has to PROVE without doubt that any after market alteration was the cause of failure. If they cannot, you are covered.

Tap it like a keg and let it hang my friend

vp's are junk and will fail regardless yes. however, tapping the wire can cause condensation to short the circuit on the pump causing it to fail. and your warranty on that pump will be null and void. if you are going to tap it the best way is to solder it.
some vp's last 10k miles, some 200k. i know some that lasted like that tapped and untapped.

Get a pump cover from your favorite vendor to tap the wire. Makes a much better connection.

i have heard for a couple people that they are just a waste of money. And to not even bother. Soldering is a great connection if you do it correctly and effectively.
