Which wire do I tap for the new VP44?
My IP went out recently and I had DDP put in an SO pump; however, for some reason, the wiring is completely different than my old IP. In the pictures below it shows how the wires are hooked up to the back of the IP, and there are six: yellow w/ red tracer, green w/ pink, black w/ yellow, purple w/ pink, red w/ green, and a dark green wire. The second picture should be rotated to the right and the first should be rotated left, but it wouldn't save like that for some reason. Where the wires go into the plug is the bottom side and the rounded top is pointing towards the TPS. Can someone tell me which one I need to tap? Thanks in advance.

So it's the top layer of wires going into that plug and it's the closest one to the engine block? It looks like it's the solid green wire then, the only one without a tracer

Thanks loudredram and J Lent. I'll take the TPS off tomorrow and tap the wire. On my original VP the wires were on the back and not on top, and there are more wires and other things added to this new VP that I have never seen before . Thanks guys!

I will make sure. Once I pull the TPS tomorrow I'll see if there are two black wires on top. If not then I'll have to wait for an answer back from DDP. I called them, but they never got back to me. They were probably swamped though.

I finally found the right wire to tap. It was under the TPS right up against the valve cover. I couldn't see them because they blended in so well. Anyways, I tapped it and soldered it (which was a huge pain). I'm going to have to resolder it eventually or just T-tap it. But the truck has so much more power now compared to when I had my old VP in there! I'm just afraid I'm going to really hurt something now

I didn't install the pump, DDP did. I asked if they would retap the wire for me but they didn't want to do it so I couldn't turn up the power levels on the Adrenaline, that way it would allow the pump to have some break-in time. I may take the solder off and go with a T-tap, because I'm not exceptionally happy with my soldering job (it was a huge pain).
