Will these Fit?

Im looking yo put bigger tires but something more street/drag radial type in thread. Do you think these will work out?..
They are 33x12xR15
they are going for around 160-180 dollars....
also i still have to see if i can even find a 15 inch 8 lug rim to go with it....

I think that I remember hearing that you can't put a 15 on our trucks because of the brake sizes. I could be wrong...it has happend before, I'm sure someone else will chime in to correct me if that is the case.

Nope 15's are a no go on these trucks, the diameter of the rear drum is to big, plus I don't even know if anybody makes a 15" wheel in an 8 lug pattern!!

well it seems that it will be just easyer to just shovel up some money and buy a 3rd vehicle since when i mentioned to trade in her truck she about freaked out.. haha i guess she didnt relize i liek my truck that much. I am still thinking about the idea but we agreed to possably getting a 3rd vehicle. I was thinking of something like a VW diesel or some sort not sure yet.. so much going on.. so little time ...

Just something to think about I talked to a guy with a VW diesel a couple weeks ago, I think it was a Rabbit, and just out of curiousity asked him what kind of mileage he got. I was AMAZED!!! 58 MPG So, you can't go wrong with looking for one of those...just don't know how hard it would be to find one.

There are 8 lug 15 inch rims available out there. I put some on a Dodge Power Wagon with a D60 rear end. The tires were brand new and I swapped in the 60 for off roading strength (truck was a 1/2 ton). But as stated before, these tires will not fit over the drums on the bigger rear axles, nor will they fit over the calipers on the D60 front axles.

does anyone know of a good source for some really really cheap 8 lug 17 inch rims????? Im looking to get myself a pair of big ole wide tires for the rear end not to much into fancy rims so basic rims designs dont bother me.. this is more for playing with not looks... im trying to build a semi-dragster thats street driven not a dragster for show that doesnt perform....

15" 8 lug wheels

http://www.ntwonline.com/acb/showdet...=2202&CATID=11

17" for less the $75.00 each

http://www.ntwonline.com/acb/showdet...=1234&CATID=11

There are probably others, but I pulled this up cause I recalled the 15" wheels.

Stockton Wheel probably has them as well - I still think they will be really tough to get them to fit:
