I know some performance shops will let you "try before you buy" with chips and boxes. If there is a shop close maybe you could ask.

 

Bob Wagner had a test Smarty that was mailed all over the country. You could ask him to try one.

 

A little off subject, but how do you like the 4:10 gears with your auto and the 315's? I've been throwin the idea around, mostly for towing, but how do you like them?

Have you ever driven by Wawa in belair on Rt. 1 and seen all the trucks in there with us young bucks hanging out? If you ever see my truck there (Patriot blue, single 7" stack, and big black steel bumper) come over and find me, the smarty is always in my truck.

I stop up there about 3-4 nights a week to see who is out, or you can PM me to set up a time. I'll even take ya for a ride in my truck if you are feeling brave.

I haven't towed any I have only had them for a week and my trailer has stayed on the job I will tow with them on friday and i'll let you know. but as far as running empty I like them a lot my mpg on the hwy crusing @ 75 was 16.4 with comp on 3 and map unplugged I think off the hwy I could see in the mid 17's

I think that you should read some of his posts again before getting in that truck. I can't tell you how many times I've read a post by TJ saying that he needs valve springs to rev higher & seen videos of him sealing the blacktop at local parking lots. I wouldn't do it! Just kidding, I'm dumb too!

 

nonsense, i let off at 3500 to shift now instead of 3800, and i only go to 5th gear, which limits me to 110mph, 6th is the one that will peg the speedo and try to twist it off
