Will 98.5 24v Injectors Work???

I have a friend with DD stage2 injectors for his 98.5 24v Dodge and I want to see if they will work in my 2001 24v??? I also want to see what other small mods I can do to improve mileage. Any help will be greatly apreciated.

Stage 2 injectors? What company modified them?

Not sure you will see any increase in fuel mileage as if they give you a decent increase in power I doubt you will be able to keep your foot out of it.

Here is the description. Diesel Dynamics "DD Stage 2 Extrude Honed 80HP Medium Can tow with these injectors, more smoke". My buddy put a couple thousand miles on them and wanted larger ones so I will be getting these for $200.00, does that sound like a good deal?

Are there any other mods I will need to do to get a little power and better fuel economy? I dont want to race and I dont pull anything over 1500lbs. Just want to make the engine run better and still last 300,000 miles.

I would get a boost fouler or even better get an edge comp box. It a great all around package. Your gonna need more air for those injectors to make the power that you want. Your gonna have to adjust your waste gate to that. Auto truck you can get a J-hook and the stick uses a elbow. On a stock truck you will get a very small puff of smoke. On the comp box, running 5X5, you'll smoke out the hiway. The old DD stage injectors are dirty(smokey) but they work. The best injectors now are the edm injectors for a clean burn. Its like night and day the difference. Enjoy...
