Wildcat Fuel Line install
Anyone got some good pics of the install I only have part of the install from Rod that is from the outlet on the filter to the inlet of the VP44 with a braided line and 1 90 degree and 1 straight fitting.

What do I do with the just black hydrolic hose with the barb fitting? And the other piece of the ss hose that i Have left after the cut I have in my box (3) 90's (1) straight fitting and a barb fitting along with ss Hose and 1 length of just black braided hose.
So where am I putting the barb and the rest.

Sorry Jamie,,,, I didn't take any pics.
The barb-end fitting goes on the black rubber hose and screws into the lift pump and replaces the original hose to the hard line coming from the tank. Use a 90 coming out of the lift pump and a 90 going into the fuel filter housing with a piece of SS braided line. Use a 90 coming out of the fuel filter housing and the the straight fitting to go into the VP-44 with the SS braided.
This is the way I did mine, hope this helps. ;D

Re:Wildcat Fuel Line install
You got the special Wildcat "Guess As You Go" Maximum Flow system

Apparently Scotty's destructions weren't quite up to snuff, huh? I'll detail what you want to do, starting at VP44:

VP44 - adapter and the -8 straight swivel. You may want to install the tapped adapter here, if you want to take fuel pressure readings off the VP44

Filter Canister outlet - adapter (recommend the tapped one here for fp readings) and a 90 swivel. Run a length of the stainless braided line between here and the VP44. You'll probably have to swing the braided line toward the fender and curl it around the power steering pump. You'll likely need about 2.5 - 3 feet of hose. Make it as short as you can, while not stretching it too tight.

Canister inlet - adapter and 90 swivel

lift pump outlet - adapter and 90 swivel. Run a short piece of braided hose between the filter canister inlet and this outlet. You may need about 1 ft or so of hose here, and you may have to do a half moon shape toward the fender of the truck. A straight run is probably not going to happen.

lift pump inlet - adapter and the brass push lock fitting. Run the -6 nitrile hose between the push lock fitting and the factory steel line, which ends approximately at the firewall. You may have to cut the existing teflon hose off of the steel line.

Hope this helps you out, Jamie...

Rod

I've been told, but haven't verified it, that the banjos on the 12v are 12mm x 1.5. If this is so, the -8 adapters will work just fine, and then all we need to know is how many straights and how many 90s, and how much braided hose you need.

Rod
