Why are people using boost elbows instead of manual boost controllers??

Mine came with no silicon hose...and my turbo came with no wastegate hooked up.
I'm using 1/4" Gates fuel line for now, all I could find locally...with silicon hose on order.

I hooked my JoeP onto 1" of hose...right at the turbo end. Pointed the 90 degree bend in the direction of the wastegate and ran hose to it. It's supported by the 1" of hose...not secured anywhere.

This was a temp hookup...did not know if I would need or want the MBC. When I get silicon hose I will do a more permanent hook up...although it's ok as is.

- Got the Silicon Hose.
