went over to steele dragway saturday, and garmons bunch was there doing some playing.there was a red dodge 4x4 reg.cab there with them ,that with some traction issues ,went a 11.11.that was one fast truck!!no doubt,,with a solid launch he would`ve been in the 10`s easily!,,,im sure we`ll see it over in atlanta in a few weeks,,,so,,watch out for that one!........and there was also a black cc duramax there that was having spinning problems also that went a 12.18!....not many trucks were there,,but boy there was some quick ones!

Hey bama,
That sounds like some of the times that a fella named Dennis Perry has run. I'm not sure of the color of his, but I did hear David Dunbar (DavidTD) mention that name when he was up here for the Claremont get-together. David was saying there are quite a few fast trucks down that way. I'm hoping to come down there for the Sept. 11th races at Atlanta. I've got nothing to compete with those guys, but I still have fun and I still love to see the looks on people's faces when they see a Diesel run those kinds of times.
Check out the flyer

Hey bama - Is your truck white?

The red truck was Matts, same one at Muncie that was blue and silver. Man it looks good red.

I really wish we could have stayed for eliminations. Penny was on a roll in my truck. Her last three passes were 14.0's with a best light .53x and a worst of a .6xx.

And it was her first time ever dragracing....

I may have lost a truck...

We'll find out in Atlanta if it was beginners luck!!

Bama:
That was a very nice run you had. Like David said the red truck was Matt's truck that ran in Muncie, blue and gray. I think the main problem Matts having is the end of the run. The truck just seem to be a little out of control. I still think the tires affect this. To big and too many cleats. And for the track, too much rain. I like the track surface. 1/8 mile concrete. Nice.

Penny is supposed to have a grudge race with one of her friends in her F250 at the Atlanta race. Penny is gonna slaughter her if she don't break it. I may have to chip the stroke to make it fun.

Chris - will Leigh Ann be home? 3 gals in the competition sure would put the pressure on the guys.

Penny does make the truck look better, but my question is... will I EVER get to race it again.
