Who has Mach 4 injecors??

Im looking at geting a set of Don m Mach 4 injecors. My questions is will they smoke with my current setup on take off with a light pedal? I do tow, 8,000lb max very rare and about 1,500 to 3,500 other wise. I have 8x10 now and it takes care of crop dusting the intercetion every time.

any info would be great.

i dont have mach 4's but with your comp box and the m4's i think you can take off with just a slight haze, if you let your turbo spool before you give er heck. but then again you can probley fog an intersection with them too...

they are going to be one of the cleanest 150 hp injectors on the market tho.

I typically don't drive with the box on. When the box is on its on 5x5 for sudden death on a race if i need it.

On 5x5 with the 4's, I can take off with no smoke if I take off nice. I can clear the road if I try. They send a smoke cloud with the box off as well.

Just curious what company or size 8x10's are and that my MACH 2.5s were real clean and made 120 wrhp on the dyno, pretty sweet for towing. If you or anybody might be intrested their up for grabs $550

They're 150-175 HP Haisley injectors. I know cuz they're in the classified

Silverram- have you tried some different settings on the comp? What do you guys think- would a lower level produce less smoke than with the box off?

I think you'll be able to drive clean with the mach 4's and sps62. As long as I'm not too lazy to downshift for slow corners I can drive my truck clean. There's some mach 2.5's in the classified if you wanted a good deal something slightly smaller (120).

I have tried the comp 1-5 and there sub levels. but there no difference in smoke with light pedal. I can accelerate and never get the boost off of 2-3lb and they still have a hase-smoke.

I want to drive clean, but still want to keep in the 500 hp range. Even mach 3 aren't out of the question.

Ok here's what you do. Get the 2.5 in the classified. (just saved you $350) Then downgrade your turbo to the ps62 ($375 price difference) then with the money I just saved ya you can now afford a smarty

#1 the F-1 are known to be clean injectors and I'd guess the 2.5's would be cleaner than the 4's, but Don works some magic sometimes so I can't really say.
#2 the ps62 would have a smaller wheel on the hot side than the sps which should be easier to spin
#3 The smarty will help bring in more boost sooner.

Randy (Charlie8301) is putting down 470 hp on his auto with just the 1.5's and the same turbo you have. Hopefully he'll chime in

With the comp box on 1x1 there will be less smoke than with the box off.

The only smoke you should have is the intial spool-up haze depending how far you put your foot into it. Your box setting also will increase or decrease your smoke levels. Whats the maximum boost you have seen for far? Your turbo should clean-up the haze as you should be in the 50psi area, I'm guessing. It would be interesting to see how high your egt's get while empty or loaded. Elevation has some impact here as well. If your at sea level your smoke output level is less than if you live in the mountains.

I think Haisleys injectors are very smokey. Mach fours should be a lot less...but with that turbo...who can say??
I have towed 7000# at sa level with my MAch 4's and a big single turbo. It was a very smoky situation!
