White Face Review

Hey guys got my white face yesterday took the 35 mins and installed it must say its really easy! I'd say its about a 4/10 for difficulty 10 being hardest. Now onto the Good stuff. Installation is really simple and following the instrustions is a snap even color pictures compliment the install making it very easy. Just follow step by step and you will be fine if you are doubting your abilities. They photocopy for drawing the needle positions on is a great compliment to the instructions and makes the install even easier. After removing the dash cluster and pulling the clear lense off the cluster its time to pop the needles this is very simple and easily done not to worry here. Next start peeling the old background off this is where I was sorta unsure for a min or two should I try to save it or not? Well I didn't it would take a bit of time but you could definately save it. I chose not to which made another step a bit easier. After peeling there was some old black overlay left on the cluster so I took a fresh razor blade and trimed it off nice and smooth. Next is poping the old gauge stops out of the black overlay and into the white. This is the tricky part those suckers are in there and they fly! I just tool my blade and put a slice in the old face and they come out easy but if you are saving the old then this will not work. After getting the pins out I centered the new overlay and then stuck it down into position it was a perfect fit. Reassemble and sit back and enjoy. Daytime viewing is greatly improved. Night time is a joy to look at.

This kit went into a canadian truck so there is no KM/H its only MPH which is fine with me cause I prefer miles. Also the only other noticeable difference is the Oil Temp and Coolant Temps ours are in Degreese C and the US is degreese F so the numbers are different but the needle runs in the same spot the degreese is just the opposite number in degreese F thats all. I am very happy with the kit and five it 2 thumbs up it looks great and fit and finish is factory or better.

Thats my $0.59 cents

Re:White Face Review

It's on my birthday wish list. Along with a billet fuel dooor. Hey Jamie, don't you have that aluminum overlay for the gauge cluster? It goes over the guages? Do you have any clue what I'm talking about? I want one of those also cause I'm going to paint it blue just like the dash. I think with the silver face gauges, the blue overlay, the blue dash, the silver gauge, the blue pod, and the silver pillar gauges, the interior will be JUST perfect.
