Where to set my timing?

Just got a set of 370 marine injectors with a custom plate (very aggressive). I need to get my timing set but not sure how much?

thanks, Chris

Bill,
Considering what I have on my truck and plan to do, what do you suggest for my timing when I get around to adjusting it? I'm thinking 15-16*.

15-16 is fine for most folks, once you start going over that starting gets harder and head gaskets blow.

Bill,
Thanks for the advice. Once I get the family re-settled in Colorado again and get my garage/shop equipment set up I'll check/set the timing as you suggested. That is after I get a 4" exhaust installed too.

I agree 16.5 is best..

17 and up i feel you are playing with fire unless you have a large turbo, or alot of fuel..... more than what the 370s can handle...
