I am looking to purchase the aFe Mega Cannon and would like to know a good company to purchase from. I've seen them on eBay but do not feel comfortable purchasing that type of product on an auction. I would also like to patronize a company that supports this site. Price is always important but customer service is too. Also, I want to be sure it comes with the Proguard 7 filter. Is that standard now or optional? Lastly, is the prefilter necessary, recommended, or not needed? Thanks for any help!

There are a variety of places that sell them. A couple that come to mind are www.mrbobsdistributing.com and piers diesel (not sure if they are site sponsors), there are many others though. Not sure if the new progaurd 7 comes with them out of the box or if you have to make sure and mention it when ordering. I use the prefilter and it sure seems to help. It definitely keeps the sticks and stones out of the pleats and would help keep the water out, though I have not had a problem with mine getting wet.
