Re:Where To Find After Market Bumpers?

DSLDOG, I have the arb bumper on my 02 and you can come take a look at it. Its in Eagle River. I had a ruennel before on my ford and that bumper was unbreakable. This arb bumper isnt as strong but it is 1000 dollars cheaper and that included shipping. Getting any bumper up here kills us. Northern 4X4 suppliers is the place to look at them as well.

Re:Where To Find After Market Bumpers?

I leave tonite to go to the lower 48 for 2 weeks. Call me on my cell phone at 223-6720 and if you want, you could look at the bumper tonite or when I come back. I looked at all of the bumpers and if I would get another one, it would probably be the ruennel. I would just have to save a little more to get it. I saw some ranch hands and they look good and are strong, not just up to the ruennel standard. I have gotten alot of good remarks on this arb bumper and it looks good. They all are pretty good bumpers.

'rid, I agree, the Reunel bumpers are probably the best of the bunch. They are also the heaviest. A front bumper is 300+ lbs, and add another 100 lbs for a big winch. That weight out front is tough on the stocks springs, and the guys I've talked to either have had to put in a stouter set, or add air bags to counter the dive when braking.

Tom
